JCBEA Announces New Executive Director

The Jefferson County Business Education Alliance is pleased to announce the appointment of Joni Inman as Executive Director.

The Business Education Alliance focuses on connecting Jefferson County businesses and the education community to help create an outstanding workforce for today and tomorrow.  It does this by serving as a resource and providing opportunities for students through workshops, career fairs, mock interviews, etc. and by workingwith the business community in creating recommendations to the Jefferson County Public School District around career-ready skills.

Inman is a well-known business leader in the Jefferson County community, owns Joni Inman Consulting, LLC and is the immediate past Chairman of the Board of the West Chamber. "I got my start in business as a member of the Future Business Leaders of America when I was a high school student in Jefferson County.  I understand just how motivating it can be to connect students to the business community and help them develop basic business skills. I'm very happy to be able to give back and be part of an organization that is helping to develop tomorrow's business leaders," she said.

"We are very excited to have Joni on our team. I'm confident that her business knowledge combined with her dedication to the community will have a very positive impact on our organization and, ultimately, on the lives of young people interested in businesscareers," said Sean Kaiser, Chairman of the Board of the Jefferson County Business Education Alliance."
